Faust goes up in Bezirhane

One of the most important representatives of German literature, the famous poet and writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's Faust, which he completed in nearly all his life time will go up in Bezirhane. The single drama will be on display by the organization of Cappadocia Vocational College with the contributions of Argos in Cappadocia. The Faust will be performed by Haydar Zorlu, who placed a huge effort in translating the work from German to Turkish, performs successfully.

Faust’s impressive history that holds an important place among the world classics, combined with the mystical beauty of Bezirhane, ready to fascinate all theater lovers. Faust, the protagonist of the game has studies in the fields of philosophy, medicine, natural sciences, theology and he is a science lover who spends his youth to solve the secrets of the earth. Faust lived in transition to the Modern Ages, dedicated all his life to research but couldn’t obtain the expected results for his self. As a scientist, he never managed to live his life in a meaningful way. While Faust is trapped in this dilemma, he makes a deal with the devil for unlimited knowledge and worldly pleasures. The Devil will save Faust’s heart from the knowledge disease and will offer him the world's most indispensable pleasures. If Faust says, "Stop time, how beautiful are you!” the devil will have gained the claim. Faust reflects a universal human tragedy full of good and evil, happiness and suffering, life and death, decisions and regrets and contains traces of Goethe's inner world and his own life.
