As a restoration project of 15 years, Argos in Cappadocia adopts a lifestyle that is compatible with Cappadocia's traditional habitat and Uçhisar's nature and atmosphere while proceeding in eco-friendly practices.
In this context, one of the most recent recycling projects of AIC has been the co-operation with pet artist Gülnur Özdağlar. The menu clips, flowers fort he vases in the rooms and gift brooches fort he guests by the artist apply recycling in various layers and try to draw attention to this notion.
AIC has been awarded many times in Turkey and abroad. It has been the only Turkish hotel to become a finalist of Conde Nast Johansens Green Award category in 2010. As in the past times, AIC uses pigeon dung as rich and natural fertiliser and artificial fertilizers are not allowed in its large premises. Spices such as rosemary, thyme, basil are grown with great care in the organic gardens and healthy dishes cooked with vegetables from these gardens are included in the menu. In addition to all, instead of air conditioners, air conditioning is provided in a natural way through the natural function of the buildings that makes Argos in Cappadocia.
