Living and Breathing Our History

A meticulous restoration and preservation project transformed this village-within-a-village, overlooking the Pigeon Valley, into a timeless space that blends history with modernity. The remnants of thousands of years remain in the facades of our historic chapel, caravanserai, mill house, caves and tunnels, repurposed and given new life as areas for relaxation as well as celebration.

Benefiting our region is an inherent prerogative that has given fruit in the form of supporting local farmers, suppliers and artisans. A small example is our fermentation room where we store pickled vegetables prepared by local families, a reflection of how indigenious culture is celebrated through the revival of traditional cuisine, handicrafts and heritage.
