SEKI Wine Cellar
Connoisseurs of the grape will marvel at the offering at argos in Cappadocia.
The property boasts its own vineyards and the largest cellar in Turkey, with over 22,000 bottles of dinner and dessert wine from national and international vintners – the restaurant’s list of vintages has earned accolades from leading trade publications such as Wine Spectator.
The cellar hosting the many red and white wines, including local varietals like the Kalecik Karasi and Emir grapes, is a masterpiece itself. Carved out of the rock, it is housed in a labyrinth of rooms and tunnels that were once a Byzantine monastery. The space is highlighted by the wine tasting room that sits in a former chapel with a soaring stone ceiling.
